Employee survey
Module 2
Employee survey
Help us benchmark your workplace’s performance so we can effectively measure progress.
Reasons for being
Tell us why you think your business really began, and why it does what it does.
Our current impact
Explain ways your business is already positively impacting people, place, profit.
Culture reflection
Describe what it is about your business that makes it a unique and special place to work.
You are invited to share your thoughts. In fact, we really encourage it!
As a team, your company’s leaders are starting an important piece of work: looking closely at how you’re doing today as a business, and how you can improve — not just in the way the business operates, but in how the company supports its people, serves its customers, and shows up in the world.
Before the company makes any changes for the better, your leaders want to understand how things feel from the inside. What’s working? What’s getting in the way? Where do you see potential they haven’t yet tapped into?
This survey is one of the ways they’re opening up that conversation. It’s your space to reflect and be honest, to share what you see, feel, and know.
Your input will help shape how the business evolves from here. Everything you share will be kept confidential and your answers won’t be attributed to any individual employee.
Please answer the questions honestly based on your personal experience. There are no right or wrong answers, just what’s true for you.
Before we meet for Workshop 1, we’d like you to spend a few quiet moments reflecting on the deeper purpose behind your business. This isn’t about strategy or financials, it’s about what matters. What sparked the work your company does, who it does it for, and the kind of difference it wants to make in the world.
Please answer the following questions in your own words. There are no right answers, only honest ones.
Even before any formal strategy and goals are put on paper, your business is already creating impact, sometimes in obvious ways, sometimes in quiet ones… sometimes, unfortunately, not in the positive ways you’d like it to. Let’s capture what’s happening today across people, place, and profit.
For each category below, list:
For example, for the ‘people’ category, you may have introduced a 4-day work week with the intention to increase employee wellbing, and you are seeing significantly increased employee retention. What, intended outcome, observed impact.
Culture isn’t what’s written on posters, it’s what actually happens day to day. It’s how your company and collective of people within it feel. Please reflect honestly and provide your thoughts on the below.
